You will see an easy form where you can choose type of electricity connection, and in the Distribution Company list, make sure to choose LESCO. Fill all other fields, upload scanned copies of related documents and apply for new connection.
LESCO New Connection Procedure
Here are the steps to apply for new meter connection:
- Fill the online application form here.
- Upload scanned copies of the following documents:
(a) Proof of ownership.
(b) Undertaking by the applicant.
(c) Power of attorney in case of more than one owner.
(d) No Objection Certificate (NOC) in case the applicant is a tenant.
(e) Attested copy of applicant’s CNIC.
(f) Attested copies of CNIC of two witnesses (not required in case of single phase connection)
(g) A copy of concerned tariff duly signed by the consumer. - Submit the application form.
- Get printed copy of the application form.
- Attach copy of all required documents with the application form.
- Send the application along with all attachments to the concerned office.
- You will receive demand notice after verification of documents.
- Now you have to pay the demand notice to the designated bank.
- Submit copy of paid demand notice to the concerned office.
- The meter connection will be installed after payment verification of demand notice.
Estimated time for new connection
How long it may take to get new LESCO meter connection? It depends on connection category. Basically there are 3 main categories of LESCO electric supply connection according to load.
Category – 1 (Up to 15 kW)
Here are steps with estimated number of days to get category-1 connection:

1. | Applicant will fill the application form with related papers and submit to nearest office who will issue the receipt and seniority number to the applicant. For this purpose, the office will setup seniority register as per application submission date and applicant will get access to it. | 1 |
2. | Related officer will visit the place where new connection is required to make sure either it is possible to setup this new connection or not. If not possible, then applicant will be informed. | 3 |
3. | If it is possible to setup new connection on applicant’s location, then the office will generate estimate cost of connection. | 2 |
4 | After cost estimation, office will issue demand notice which can be picked by hand or sent to applicant by post. | 2 |
5 | Applicant will deposit the demand notice fee to bank and submit a copy to related lesco office. | 2 |
6 | Applicant will submit wiring test report and related office will verify it. | 3 |
7 | The office will prepare the priority list of applicants as per their dues submission date. | 1 |

9 | The related office will then contact store to get connection items e.g. meter, wire, installation kit etc. | 3 |

Category – 2 (16 to 70 kW / 400 volts)
The process to get new category-2 lesco connection is almost same as category one, but it can take up to 44 days to complete category 2 connection.
Category – 3 (71 to 500 kW / 400 volts)
Just like category one and two, there are same steps for category 3, however in this category it may take up to 73 days from application submission date to meter installation.
